NASDAQ
The National Association of Securities Dealers Automatic Quotation System (NASDAQ) is a computer system established to facilitate trading without a physical exchange. To accomplish this, the NASDAQ posts real-time broker/dealer quotes on Over-The-Counter (OTC) stocks. Approximately 4,000 common stock issues are included in the NASDAQ system.
